The Worlds of Siooraa
Japanese Zen
Stillness held in ivory, water and a single line of gold.
The Inspiration
A composition built from what is left out. Pale resin fields are poured to read like still water, then broken by one gesture — a branch, a ridge of stone, the quiet disc of a moon.
Nothing is decorative for its own sake. Line weight, negative space and the interval between elements carry the whole piece, which is why it settles so easily into a contemporary architectural interior.
